open .STEP file and see nothing. (no always)
Can anyone test these two files if they can be viewed by ABViewer 14.1?
once I update to newset version of ABViewer, I can view them, but 1 day after, I open them and see nothing.

I see why CADViewX was slower. It's about SearchSHXPaths and SHXSearchPaths, They cost seconds. After disabled them, CADViewX become very fast!

Have a look at "MxDraw", They are faster than CADViewX, maybe twice faster.

Can CADViewX display a progess bar when loading the drawing file?
IE users sometimes will experience "browser halt" (the IE browser freezed when running heavy duty or dead cycle computing), and in our case, when lauch LoadFile method, the control will download .dwg file from web server, then render the file to display, this actions will take 10 seconds or more. I think it's not a good way to expose the register key to users, especially projects using HTML and Javascript to call the control. I suggest a popup dialog while the control is unregistered.
