Selecting vertices of polyline

I seem to recall that I could select vertices of a polyline with thickness in previous versions. The problem I have now is that with a drawing containing 2d polylines with a non zero thickness I can not snap to the extruded vertex of the polyline. Is my memory playing tricks or has something changed?

Hello.
Snap functionality includes some limitations for drawings with nonzero z extent. For example, snap to midpoint not accessible for such drawings. The thickness value provides nonzero z extent for a drawing. However snap to endpoint is available independently from the z extent value. Please specify which snap mask you set and CAD Import VCL version number.
