problems opening package
Hello,
I'm relatively new with Delphi so this hopefully is a simple question. I had to reinstall delphi 2006 on a new computer since I got rid of my old computer. I tried to re-install sgGrpVw2006win.dpk but when I open it in Delphi for Win32 there is no bpl file in the Project Viewer for me to install.
Please help as I need this urgently.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Sergey,
thanks for the quick response. I have done that but my problem is that there is no .bpl file shown when I open the dpk file.
However, this doesn't happen when I open the dpk file under Lib2005Win32 folder. So I'm wondering if my dpk file in the Lib2006Win32 folder is corrupt or if you've come across this before. If so can you send me the CADImportVCL zip file again? I have already paid for it.
thanks,
Hike

Hello Hike!

sgGrpVw2006win32.bpl must appear in the Project Manager after Step b in the previous guidance. To call Project Manager, View > Project Manager Ctrl + Alt + F11 menu item must be selected.

CAD Import VCL does not require sgImage component since version 6.1, February 2007. It means that there is no need to install sgGrpVw2006win32.dpk in to Delphi 2006 to run demos from the library's package.

If sgGrpVw2006win32.dpk once was successfully installed into BDS 2006, it means that the package you have is valid.
