We have CADImporter.dll embedded into our software for import of various vector graphics. Some customer complain about not to be able to import dxf of 143 MB. Debugger (BorlandC++Builder 5.0) shows "Insufficient memory..." and crashes in CADCreate(...). I have 1 GB of RAM. Is it possible that 143 MB dxf file fills 7 times more RAM ?

Theoretically this is possible. It depends on what CADImporter.Dll version is used and what the contents DXF file has.
Can you please send us one of such files (certainly packed) to support@cadsofttools.com or give us a download link for we could test the problem?
