Re: Converting dwg to directx using C#
Sergey,
Here is an update now that the product has been released. This is an example of the first floor of a real world building, integrated with access control security devices. It allows security personnel to navigate facilities and evaluate status with real time 3D information. Importing CAD files plays a very minimal role for a handful of clients, but you will see us purchasing additional license when those needs arise. Users will typically use my 3D toolset to draw the floorplans, however having the capacity to import CAD images is great. The company website will be updated roughly January 2009 to show this new product.

I am still having some issues with getting 100% conversion from your dll into my special DirectX format, but my 3D tools are for the most part able to correct them after importation. It has been a great experience working with your product and I would recommend it to anyone seeking an affordable CAD solution.
If you have any desire to include DirectX in your list of supported exports, let me know via e-mail.
Regards,
~Chris

Re: Converting dwg to directx using C#
Granted they took a while to update their website, and they only posted the 2D version that doesn't use the CADImport...
I am happy to show you the product I was working on. Finally!

They are a great company, and I have moved on to working on other projects, but it was pretty awesome seeing it all come together in 11 months.
Thank you again,
Chris
