On my PC (not very "young") it took 50 seconds to open a 5Mb Dwg.
Is it possibile to speed up the dwg loading settings some properties ?
I'm worried becase i have to work with some file that are larger than 50 Mb.

Re: dwg loading
Hello.
Unfortunately there aren't any properties to speed up loading. Import big DWG (such as 50MB size) can result in considerably waiting, but there isn't linear dependence between size and required time. The structure of imported file matters too. For example we have import two DXF files with 10MB and 69MB sizes (using PC that few years "old", with not the brighest performance too). Opening and visualisation require 70 sec and 200 sec time correspondingly. We're working on the increasing import speed, but it is future perspective only.

... oh, i see.
... but your abviewer is faster than this library, so i suppose that some changes in some properties could help to speed up dwg loading .

Hello.
Unfortunately you're correct, CAD Import .NET slower than ABViewer. But there aren't any properties to improve library speed. The question is in developnment.
