DWG/DFX - Filter
High,
we use this CadViewX control since some days.
I am very enthusiastic about this control. TOP !!!!
But I have some questions now.
There is
1. Is it possible to select block references in a CAD-File? I'm only interested in certain blocks. I would not like to read all blocks first.
The function should work like the AutoCAD function
<SelectionSet.Select acSelectionSetAll, , , myFilterType, myFilterData>
2. Can I show a certain detail from the loaded picture by using the control from my software.
many thanks

Hi Baulog,
Please pay attention to CAD Import .NET - the software has got entities tree where you can turn on/off each entity. This is for .NET framework only.
We are going to add DWG / DXF filtration to all our libraries. This is a big task, if you wish we can make DWG/DXF filtration based on your requirements before official release as a custom development. Please write us by e-mail: info@cadsofttools.com
Thank you.

High,
unfortunately, we don't use the NET-Framework for developing.
When will be implemented these functions in the ActiveX-Control?
I also would test a beta version.
The other question is: Can I get and set the coordinates of a picture or cad-drawing, which ones are showing.
Thanks and best regards,
Peter

Full filtration will take two or three months of work. We can make it much faster special for you needs - write us by e-mail to discuss the details.
