I tried using ABViewer to view CGM files. All I get is a vertical line. Are CGM’s fully supported?

The CADImporterDLL does not appear to support CGM. Is this true?

I have tried to get the CADImageVCL to compile. It says that it is missing sgGrVreg.dcu. Where do I get this file?

I downloaded the compiled executables and none of them support CGM. Does CADImageVCL support CGM.

Officially documented CGM file format is supported fully. But some files have undocumented commands. We should be appreciated to you if you could send to support@cadsofttools.com such files for we could enlarge abilities of our products.

At present CADImporterDLL does not support CGM. But in closest issues this support will be implemented.

CADImageVCL is an old realisation of CADImportVCL (available on: http://www.cadsofttools.com/?PageName=CADImportVCL). Please inform us what version of Delphi do you use.
Could you please inform us about the source where you found CADImageVCL.

CADImportVCL.zip (available on: http://www.cadsofttools.com/download/CADImportVCL.zip) includes ABViewer demo in CADImportVCL\Delphi\Demos\Viewer folder. It supports CGM.

I have sent two files.

My mistake, I wrote CADImageVCL while I meant CADImportVCL. I am using CBuilder 6. Would it be possible to just supply the compiled BPL and BPI files?

Since I can’t compile the VCL, I cannot produce the ABViewer demo from CADImportVCL.

Please install Graphic Viewer component sgGrpVwBCB6.bpk from CADImportVCL\CBuilder\BCB 6\Lib folder.

ABViewer supports CGM file format fully. If anybody has problem files please send them to us at support@cadsofttools.com for testing and solving the problem.
