Soon I'll be building a nice pc, and I'm planning to run Linux, but I might also want to do some cad. I have experience with Siemens NX, Solidworks and fusion 360. Any recommendations on which programme to use for Linux, that I could use both for drawing and calculating?

Honestly I would run dual OS
bazoocam . CAD runs fine but your graphics card drivers
protonvpn are limited from what I’ve seen. Granted it’s been a few years since I installed CAD on Linux.

There are several CAD programs available for Linux, including FreeCAD, OpenSCAD, LibreCAD, QCAD, and BRL-CAD. The most popular CAD program for Linux is FreeCAD. It is open-source and free to use, and it offers powerful features and a large user community. Other popular options include LibreCAD, BRL-CAD, and QCad. It is an open-source, high-quality 3D modeling program that can be used for a wide variety of CAD projects. It has powerful features such as parametric modeling, assemblies, and drawing sheets.
