I just downloaded the trial version of the software. I was able to opening a dxf drawing and zoom in and out. I was not able to pan around. Is paning available in the registered version? Are there other features disabled in the trial version that are available in the registered version?

 Thank you for the question.
Trial version of Pocket PC CAD Viewer has no restrictions in functionality.
 Please use your stylus to pan the drawing.

Thanks for the input. I have noticed that my PDA "freezes" or "lock-up" sometimes after zooming and panning. The only way to get out of this mode is to end the software task. Is there something missing or I am doing wrong? I have loaded the .Net Framework version 2 SP1. Is there any updates or patches I should have loaded?

Such behaviour is not respective to PC CAD Viewer.
 Is it possible for you to send us these files where it hangs for testing?

I believe I found the problem. I was using a .dwg file located on the compact flash card. When I moved this to the sd card or the main memory, I did not have any issues. Do you know if there are any plans for the next version to save the viewed files in other formats other than .bmp? The drawing that I am using to test with is typical of our other drawings. When this is saved as a .bmp, the text is almost un-readable.

We plan to add support of export to DXF, PDF and other file formats. We will inform when they will be available.

We have one PDA with Window Mobile 5.0 and .net Framework 2 (i.e. Symbol MC70), when we download the PocketPC Cad Viewer 1.52 and try to open one DGN file it takes too much time( around 10 min). The same file we have tried with Dr DWG mobilite and it open the same file within a minute. Please let us know the issue, as well as is there any CAD viewer for PDA in which we can mark some thing and save it for the further reference, also the saving file into BMP format is not happen it shows an error.

Pocket PC CAD Viewer does not support DGN file format for the moment.

Pocket PC CAD Viewer's markup tool contains only Pen currently. It allows saving loaded file with made markups to BMP file format. Can you please send us your file to support@cadsofttools.com, which could not be saved with markups?

Thanks for the quick response, but that's my mistake, the file extension was .DWG file and i think that supported, and we have tried the .DXF file it open but again it taking time.

Also when i close the application it not properly closed the application it still exist into the memory.

Hello Prabhat,

Pocket PC CAD Viewer is based on FrameWork 2. Dr DWG Mobilite uses Windows API directly. That is why speed difference exists.
