Save as EMF cut off

Post by MLasby » 06 Dec 2012, 08:07

When I save a AutoCad 2000 dwg file as an emf file the right and bottom edges are cut off. The dwg and resulting emf are attached. What am I doing wrong?

Hello.
AutoCAD can't define the drawing version because it is not AutoDesk format. Anyway please download the latest ABViewer release version that doesn't display the issue:

I downloaded version 9.0.1 64 bit and re-installed it. This is the same version I was using before. This did not fix the problem. The file is exactly the same.
The ABV save as dialog says the file is 1364x230. The resulting emf file is 1207x 204. The issue is the same with a wmf file.
When I use the "Copy as EMF" button in the toolbar and paste to Word 2003, the image is not cutoff.

Hello.
Please take a look at the following screen shots that demonstrate export to EMF format:
emf.png
emf.png (405.89 KiB) Viewed 71998 times
All pictures but the right bottom related to saving to EMF when ABViewer window have some customized size. The right bottom picture displays export options when ABViewer window is reduced to maximal size. You're correct, the sizes of created files are different from specified in export options. we will consider this issue. However the created EMF not cut. Please check the attached files.

Hello.
We have found the problem. It takes place if ABViewer licensed as Standard or unregistered only. If the program licensed as Professional or Enterprize then such issue not occur. We will fix this problem.
