Tool Cut Path for GCode
Hi, by default the GCode I get seems to always go in a counter-clockwise direction. Sometimes a clockwise direction is required. Please see link http://www.cnccookbook.com/CCCNCMillFee ... tional.htm.
The bit must spin clockwise, and so sometimes the tool path must be clockwise as well. This affects the finish and accuracy of the cut.
I think I can reverse the order of all the gcode to reverse the path direction. But it would be nice to have this as an option.
Thanks.

Re: Tool Cut Path for GCode
Hello Brian,
Judging by your illustration, you need a CNC program for climb milling to produce a better surface finish, and the spindle should always be moving in a clockwise direction, without turning on the reverse. Is that correct?
