damn thing posted before i was done typing! :)

oh well, back to my point:

i've recently found some dwg files are having text not displayed even though the layer is turned on. has anyone come across this as well?

The text problem in DWG files has been solved. Beta version of ABViewer 5 is available on: http://www.cadsofttools.com/download/abviewerrl.zip
