No Text with DXF

Hello ABViewer people. I bought this program a few days ago so I'm a new user. I convert a plt file to dxf and create some text in it. The problem starts when I try to make a Gcode file with the ESTLcam program but one more I have doen't tecognize the text also. What is going wrong? What is incompatible? I have a proffesional licence of the 14.1 Version x64 .

Hello Sakis,

Is the text displayed correctly when you open the .dxf file with ABViewer or DWG TrueView? Could you please post a screenshot?

Hello Sakis,

Judging by the screenshot, the texts use SHX fonts which are composed of single line segments and not solid-filled such as most TrueType fonts. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with Estlcam, but, judging by this tutorial, the given software supports TrueType fonts and doesn't support SHX fonts.

You may try to do the following:

• Select a text with a mouse and change the text style to "STANDARD" which uses the font Arial by default.
• After changing the text style, right-click on the text and select "Convert to curves" in the popup menu.
