A simple wish for a future release

Post by martin-michael.kunkies » 05 Dec 2020, 11:29

Hello
I have a simple wish for a future release
Just a simple moveable ruler on the X and Y axis
and a refresh function, if I have a new STL Model with the same name I have to Close the Program
and start it new this sucks.
Thank you for this nice Application make it easier to create 3 D Parts.

Have a good one.

Hello Martin,

Could you please specify the purpose of Refresh button? Would you like to reload currently opened model using this button?

the use of a reload button is simple, when I have a model loaded and I do a little change I have to close ABViewer.
and start it new. It would be a bit easier just to refresh it. It's not a big deal. Thank you for asking. But a ruler what I mention would be great.
Happy Holiday to everyone.

ABViewer already has the button Reload File: https://cadsofttools.com/help/en/reload.htm

Thank you Mikhail for you answer.
But what about a X and Y Ruler it's hard to measure a circle when ABViewer don't recognize the Circle.
Wish you a wonderful 2021
Keep healthy
