I have just tried to edit a Block of an existing drawing imported from Alibre.
Called the editor and selected the text which I modified.
The correct text displayed on the refreshed display of the Block.
I closed the Block editor - the change I had made was ignored and the original text displayed.
I suspect that this is the same problem as I am having (still no response from anyone) regarding the text editor which refuses to work - the text height property resetting back to 2.5 as soon as the edit box is vacated.
This would suggest that something in VISTA is not letting the appropriate file to be updated? I have checked access permissions for all the files that I think are associated with ABViewer but no good.

Please, can anyone help?

Hello.
The problem doesn't depend on OS used. Unfortunately this is a bug within ABViewer and its block editor component if to be more precise. Changes of texts not stored when you close block editor. This problem will be fixed soon and it doesn't connected to another situation you describe.
