Apparent Bug: Printer Top Margin Error
Posted: 26 Apr 2007, 17:51
ABViewer 6.1.0.44 Professional on Windows XP.
Canon PiXMA iP1000 printer, page size Letter.
Layout of printed image 3 rows of 4 columns.
Default unit of measure: inch.
Scale: 1 inch = 96 drawing units (1 / 96 scale).
Top Margin default: 0.157 in
Bottom Margin default: 0.238 in
Actual printing begins as high as printer will allow
but does not include all the image so there is lost
image content between current page and one above.
It appears the print image is shifted up the page
since the actual bottom is larger than 0.238 inches.
Solution is to change margins to a large number:
Top Margin default: 0.75 in
Bottom Margin default: 0.75 in
Smaller numbers do not appear to solve the problem.
