Low memory Error

Post by dbazos » 19 Oct 2011, 21:15

I am using ABviewer 7 to clip a portion of a dwg file and save it as another file using the clip rectangle tool. It worked hundreds of times, but now I've opened a new dwg file and when I do the same clip, it gives me a 'low memory error' when saving. A file is saved but it is empty. It still clips the old dwg files without errors though.

Any suggestions?

Computer has plenty of free memory.
I've also tried ABviewer 8 and no change.

thanks.

I was clipping from a dwg file and outputting as an autocad 2000 DXF.

I did this hundreds of times with previous files but the latest dwg drawings that I'm working on give me the low memory error.
The only differences between them are their size (old ones were 204K and new ones are 1.5-2.5MB) and the old ones were a single drawing in the file. The new dwg file has multiple drawings in the one file.

Thanks.

Problem solved.
I guess the new file was a very new version of Autocad. I just received a Autocad 2007 version and it worked fine.

Thanks for the help.

Hello.
The problem is solved - that's great. However we can test the issue and find its cause. Could you please send the file that results in "low memory" error to support@cadsofttools.com?
