The Leader button allows drawing a leader.
Quick Access Panel:
Ribbon: Editor -> Draw -> Leader
Menu: Draw -> Leader
A leader in CADEditorX is a polyline with an arrow at the beginning. The shape of the arrow is predefined by the current dimension style and can be edited after its creation.
To draw a leader
1. Click on the button .
2. Click once where the leader has to be directed to or enter the coordinates via the dynamic input.
3. Drag the pointer to draw a straight line.
4. Click when done
Note: Use the Polar tracking and the Ortho modes.
A leader has a set of properties which can be viewed and edited in the Properties panel:

Description |

Color |
Defines the color of the leader |
Layer |
Defines the layer which the leader belongs to. The property contains a list of all available in the drawing layers and allows to move the leader to another layer. |
Line Weight |
Defines the lineweight of the leader. Is selected from the standard values. You can turn the function of showing the lines according to their lineweight on or off. Each lineweight value corresponds to a number of pixels on the screen. The number of these pixels isn't changed while scaling in the program window. The scale of lineweighht display on the screen is set in the Visualization tab of the Options window. |
Linetype |
Defines the linetype of the leader. Is selected from the standard values. |
Linetype scale |
Sets the scale for the current linetype. By default it is 1. |
Arrow Size |
Sets the arrow size of the leader. By default it is equal to 0.18. |
Arrow |
Allows to change the type of the arrow. |
